Brat II [Teen!Reader x Teen!Franky]

"I'm bored," you whined.
"That's great," Franky said.

You glared at the teenage boy. You spent your time with him ever since you were a child, since you had nowhere else to go. You helped Tom's Workers sometimes with the Sea Train, but only to get materials. You and building tools don't go well.

"Whatcha doin'~?" you sang.
"Finishing up some parts for the train," Franky answered.
"Need help?" you offered.
"Pass me that nail over there?"

You looked around for a nail. You spotted it and grabbed it. You tossed it to Franky, who caught it without even looking up. You sat on a pile of lumber, swinging your legs.

"Oi, Franky!" yelled Iceburg, walking towards the both of you.
"Yo, Burg!" you waved.
"Hi [Name]. Franky, have you finished the parts?" asked Iceburg.
"I'm almost done," Franky said.
"Nmaa, you're taking too long," Iceburg glared.
"Perfection takes time."
"Looks nowhere near perfect."

Franky glared at the older boy.

"You wanna try me?!"
"Tch, whatever."

The boys continued to bicker. You laughed at this sight.

"Ladies, ladies, calm down," you teased.

Franky turned around and faced you, red-faced and flustered.

"No one's talking to you!" he yelled.
"Nmaa! Don't ignore me!" shouted Iceburg.

Iceburg kicked Franky, causing the latter to stumble forward. Franky tripped over a stray brick. Before you two knew it, Franky was on top of you, his lips in contact with yours. Iceburg's eyes widened at the kiss that he caused.

"...I'll just...leave you two alone...," the older boy trailed off, walking backwards slowly.

You and Franky were frozen, not knowing what to do. Franky finally snapped back to reality and pulled away. You awkwardly stared at each other.

"...That was kind of...nice," you whispered quietly.
"Yeah...," Franky replied.

Your breath hitched at his response. You didn't know until now, but you had feelings for the speedo boy.

"This is gonna sound really weird, but...," Franky said quietly.
"...But?" you raised your eyebrow in question.
"Do you wanna try it again?" he asked. "I mean, not that you have to, it's just tha--"
"Sure," you said.

Franky's eyebrows raised in shock. Obviously he had not expected for you to agree. Then he realized you had said yes and he leaned in. And for the second time, your lips met.

Behind another pile of lumber, you could said Kokoro and Iceburg watching the couple.

"You owe me," whispered Iceburg.
"Here's 2,000 beri," said Kokoro, handing over the money.
"...We're even."
